This workshop offers a developmental reading program that enables high school students to master the reading competencies they acquired in the elementary grades.
June 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 - July 1, 6, 8, 13 | Tuesday & Thursday | 2:00 - 5:00 PM
Course Structure: The workshop will be done via distance learning through applications like Zoom and Google Classroom. It is advised that parental/adult supervision is provided to support the learning needs of students.
Session 1 – 2 Word Perception
Session 3 – Study Skills
Sessions 4 – 5 - Comprehension Skills
Sessions 6 – 7 - Literary Appreciation Skills
Session 8 – Oral Interpretation or reading with expression skills
Session 9 - Final Project/Presentation

A Certificate of Attendance will be given to each student who has successfully completed the program.
Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable. Please be informed that once the Workshop has started payment for the program will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
Name Registration. In order to properly enroll to the Workshop the name to be registered should be the name of the student.
This course is ideal for kids ages 14 and up.
MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT
- Laptop/Tablet with internet access
- Tables and/or drawing boards, recycled paper/newspaper to cover tables
NOTE: In this course, the role of parents and/or a supervising adult is critical as supervision to set-up materials and other needs is necessary. Please provide an area free of distractions with access to internet. The space should have an area for working as well as drying to lay-out materials. Kindly bear in mind that since this is an art class, the area will get messy.
