This one-semester Certificate Program on Digital Fashion Marketing provides a concise overview of the skills, strategies, and tactics necessary to help a fashion designer, entrepreneur, or marketer to stay ahead in an increasingly digital fashion environment. At the core of this course is the importance of branding oneself and one’s business to solidify one’s unique proposition in the digital world.


For 1st Semester S.Y. 2022-2023, this course will be delivered remotely through the SoFA C.R.E.A.T.E. (Collaborative Remote Experience through Art and Transformative Education) Program.


The semester begins in SEPTEMBER 2022

This course runs for 1 semester or approximately 4 to 5 months.






Digital Marketing is an essential tool for creative entrepreneurs especially in a technology-driven era where a powerful brand image can prove to be a potent weapon in disrupting a stale industry. From building up a brand’s reputation & catering to a mobile consumer to decisions over cost-effectivity compared to traditional marketing, this course aims to decode the language of digital marketing for creative business owners and entrepreneurs who are interested in keeping up with digital trends & gaining advantage over the competition.



This course shall be divided into the stages/ modules as the students’ roadmap in building their Personal Brand as follows: 1) Personal Brand Vision that is rooted in their Life Purpose, Passions and Values. 2) Personal Brand Goals & Objectives as manifestations of their Personal Brand Vision. 3) Personal Brand & Industry Audit to ground goals vis-à-vis their current realities.  4) Personal Brand Strategy that will help bridge current realities to reach their goals & objectives. 5) Personal Brand Action Plan that translates their Personal Brand Strategy into actionable steps towards meeting goals. 6) Personal Brand Narrative as the backbone of how they will communicate their Personals Brand 7) Personal Brand Look Book which will serve as the visual translation of their Personal Brand. 8) Personal Band Communication Plan will be the actual implementation of their Personal Brand Narrative. 9) Personal Brand BluePrint will serve as the single document that encapsulates their Personal Brand. This course provides the theories, underpinning knowledge, and practical applications, supported by research to help create, communicate a marketable Personal Brand. 



In a world where technology has democratized access for anyone to create a fashion business online, or a business that both compliment the brick-and-click ecosystem, not everyone can create an enduring, successful brand. It is with this premise that this course was created – to provide a deconstructed window in building a brand that can face disruptions, dovetail to realistic work-streams, self-actualization of its full potential and monetized. After this course, its students should be able to gain confidence in understanding their business vis-à-vis their brand –the distinction, the consequence, the relationship - and the many work-streams that impact the consistent stewardship of the brand, in the course of its evolution as living idea. 



In a fast-paced world where information is best relayed through digital platforms, it is necessary for creatives to be able to create and use content tailor made for their targeted market.  This course teaches the fundamentals of content marketing and helps in developing a system to understand the audience to generate content ideas. It also familiarizes creatives on different types of content formats and provides strategies as to how to create stream of fresh content in different digital platforms.  More importantly, the ideas generated in the process will then be translated into strong narratives that employs techniques in creating videos and other visual tools to get the message across to the customer in mind.
