Fashion Styling has emerged to be the new dream career for most young individuals. Besides basic knowledge on clothing, a stylist has to be familiar with the fashion industry and its history. Students will also be taught professional ethics and presentation skills to further prepare them for future courses, and eventually, the professional practice in the industry.
The course will aid students in establishing their unique fashion philosophy, and will tackle theories and facts associated with fashion styling. Specialists in fashion styling, brand marketing and television/movie styling will also be invited to speak in class to broaden the students’ understanding of the profession and the real-world industry. The course will conclude in a magazine editorial project, which most practicing fashion stylists specialize in.
